58th Capablanca Memorial took place Fri 9th to Mon 19th May 2025. The elite section was a 10 round double round robin with five instead of the normal six players. Players: Volodar Murzin, Jonas Buhl, Bjerre, Evgeny Romanov, Arseniy Nesterov and Carlos Daniel Albornoz Cabrera. Jonas Buhl Bjerre just edged out Volodar Murzin after they both scored 5.5/8. Dylan Isidro Berdayes Ason won the open with 7.5/9.
