FIDE Women's World Cup 2025 - Games and Results

The FIDE Women's World Cup took place in Batumi, Georgia, Sun 6th Jul to Monday 28th Jul 2025. This was a seven round knockout with 107 players. The top seeds were Lei Tingjie, Zhu Jiner, Tan Zhongyi, Humpy Koneru, Anna Muzychuk etc. The event was won by 15th seed IM Divya Deshmukh who beat Humpy Koneru in a rapid tie-break in the final, Deshmukh had missed a big chance in the first game of the regular time control. She won the event, a place in the women's Candidates and the GM title. Koneru and Tan Zhongyi join Deshmukh in the women's Candidates.
